Regular contributor Chuck Lathe sends in some choice pics from a recent show.

Well I’m back from a nice but very windy weekend and I owe you folks some pics. The inbox is brimming so lets get to it.

By the way, all the best thoughts to the folks in tornado country for the recent troubles. Crazy stuff for sure.

Hey Steve,
We rode down to the Progressive Motorcycle Show in Charlotte on Saturday and I thought you might like these. They are, of course, a Bonneville Street Tracker, a Norton 961 Cafe Racer, and a Ducati 916, and a 1968 Yamaha DT-1 . The Bonneville has a trick frame and either a new or modified single shock swing arm, but a tiny little oil cooler.

Thanks again Chuck!

Cool! I thought these had disappeared! The Christini AWD Motorcycle.

I remember that these had made a splash 7 or 8 years back but then nothing really came of it. Now I find that they’re building complete bikes including one based (I THINK) on a reproduction of the 2006-08 CRF450x and onther on a 2 stroke Gasgas 300… OR you can get a Honda or KTM based frame kit. Strange times but interesting bikes!

Anyone have any experience with these? I’d love to know more.
Their website is HERE! WITH A LOT MORE INFO!

The frame kit show the basics of that they do and how it works.

And there some decent video’s available.

Thanks much to Mark Gibson for some nice shots of one of my all time favorite bikes. I wish there were more of them around over here so I could get my hands on one!

Thought you might like a shot of my ZEP !? Blue sky,dry roads, full tank of gas, what more could any biker want! I’m an aging biker these days, but your website just keeps on bringing back the good times, fantastic, keep it going! I will send a couple more shots, regards mark.

Sounds like a perfect day! Thanks Much!

Another round of name that bike! What did it start out as?

A pretty radical custom Motard from Germany. There’s a LOT of love in this bike. Answer on the bottom…

Another Metro Racing Masterpiece.

Donzilla over at Metro Racing cranks out another phenomenal restoration. I don’t often “yearn” when I see a bike but this one gets me over that line. Be sure and pay his site a visit. You won’t be sorry.

Stunters. Sometimes you just have to tip your hat.

I’m not big on the whole “Stunt” thing but you can’t deny the skillzzzz here. Nicely produced video too.

An oldie but a goodie.. Isle of Mann TT Video.

Just amazing footage and everyone survived the wrecks. It should load but if not click through. It’s worth it.

A nice Ural sidecar rig “out in the wild”..

Thanks to James Meyer. Seen on the streets of Santa Monica. I wonder how reliable these are for long distance travel.

“probably about 180”  HP….

What a bike!  What a tuner!  What a Shop!!  And these gents are having a hell of a good time!

When it’s on the dyno, turn it up LOUD!
