Thanks much to Mark Gibson for some nice shots of one of my all time favorite bikes. I wish there were more of them around over here so I could get my hands on one!
Thought you might like a shot of my ZEP !? Blue sky,dry roads, full tank of gas, what more could any biker want! I’m an aging biker these days, but your website just keeps on bringing back the good times, fantastic, keep it going! I will send a couple more shots, regards mark.
Sounds like a perfect day! Thanks Much!
Beautiful bike!!
Nice job. I’m building a race/show zeph 1100 and cant wait to get out on it. I like the exhaust, what is it and where is it from please?
Thanks
Hi Ron, The exhaust is a ” MISTI ” they are hand made in Japan,im not sure what country your from, but i purchased mine from Z power here in the UK,they sound great, more like the old ” deep tone ” sounding four into ones from the 70s. These Z 1100s are just great fun to ride, they obviously look similar to the old Zs but they are ” sorted ” hydraulic clutch / big swing arm / reasonable brakes / stiff frame etc, as the ad says ” LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL ” !!!
Hi Mark
Thanks for that, I’ll look into it. I was looking at stuff from WEBIKE in Japan but it’s all sooo bloody expensive. I’ve already had the forks made for the Zeph (T595) lengthened with new yolks, the engine is away being powder coated and the rebuilt instruments are done. Just need to graft in the CB1300 swingarm and Aprilia RSV wheels now. Then we are off to paint.
I will post it here but it’s gonna be another 6 months away.
Thanks for the info mate.
PS. I’m in this cold, rip off country too…..Norfolk way.
Nice one Mark.
