At the “split personality” Moto Guzzi Cafe.

Unfortunately I couldn’t find the right camera angle in the cramped area of the display to convey just how stunning this bike was in the flesh.

We have a little of this..

and a little of that..

Long live Italy!

I just love the “inspection” window.

Gorgeous..

A VERY unusual BSA Victor.

At least that’s what it started out as one.  Somebody sure had a vision  Not sure about how well the stained glass fairing would hold up though.

A ride thru the suburbs of Mumbai on a Royal Enfield 500

Hat tip: Helmet Stories
Now this is just my opinion. But to all the vidoegraphers out there even though (in this case) I like AC/DC and this is extremely well produced, I’d almost always much rather hear the sounds of the ride. Especially a nice thumper like the Enfield.

Some Wild Sidecar Motocross Pics!

I’d heard about this class and even seen a few pictures and such over the years but I had no idea that they put it out there to this degree.  Just amazing!  Thanks much to Piotr Szumera from the ADV rider page for permission to use these.

To quote him directly from his post: “Here is a few shots from last weekend’s Sidecar MX championship round 6 which took place in Gdansk, Poland.  Everybody knows, that racing requires some balls. But these crews have a set of 4 on each machine and made of titanium for sure.”

NO DOUBT!

FYI – I’ve (finally) updated the “Trusted Vendors” page on the upper right of the homepage.

It’s a little narrowly focused on the Japanese bikes I work on so if anyone wants to throw in a good word for places they’ve used post it in the comments section there and we’ll sort things out as we go along.  I’d like to make a truly broad and useful resource out of it with the help of folks who know the best.  Oh and it doesn’t have to be North American only.  It’s a global economy after all.

A nice “celebrity” owned Kenny Dreer Norton

In case you’re not sure yes, that’s Tim Allen AKA:Tim the Tool Man Taylor’s picture on there… I’m not sure of the full story.

The business end..

BMW R69’s.

These bikes are getting very interesting to me. I keep drifting back to these pics for a look. When I was a young snot barreling around on 2-strokes and pissing people off (well I STILL do that actually) I never gave BMW a second thought. But the more I see of these the more I like them. Pardon my ignorance to the purists but these are both R69’s correct? :-/

I’m pretty sure this one’s a repeat.
