  1. Nice looking machine but sorry, I just don’t get it. Wouldn’t you just go and buy a new Norton Commando 961 if modern retro British bikes were your thing?

  2. The base model Thruxton is approx. AUS $1500 cheaper than a Norton. I don’t know how much the T3 Thruxton is but I imagine the USD forks and 6 pot calipers would already eat a largish chunk of the $1500 difference.
    The T3 is certainly a beautiful looking machine but unless you were a die hard Triumph fan I feel you would get a lot more bang for your bucks by going for the Norton if you were only interested in owning British retro.
