I’d done a post on the Christini AWD bikes a while back and I always want to see it closer up. Well a big thank you to Colin for the message board link over on Dirt Bike World where these were located. This is the sort of technology that just stops me in my tracks and get me staring. Amazing how compact it really is. I’d think the weight would be easily offset by the added traction. Ant that KTM 300 is already a rocket ship! Really brilliant. I’d love to ride one someday.

This bike started our a 1950/ ZB34/ BSA…all that’s left is the crank,barrel and trans, the rest I made except for the tires, rubber is hard to work with…it’s been in a few shows a usually gets attention wherever I show it ….later Rick Booth

Elena Myers made history once again, winning the second of two AMA Supersport races at Daytona International Speedway. The win was Myers’ second professional AMA victory and gives her the distinction of being the first female racer to ever win a professional motorsports race at the famed Daytona circuit.
Don’t feel bad gentlemen. She’s shown promise for a while now and I suspect you won’t be the last to feel her sting.

I’m on record as saying that waaaay to many folks are chopping up waaay too many nice XS650’s and that most of them are a waste of time. For reasons I can’t really explain, I kinda like this one. shrug..

Fully rebuilt Mid 70’s motor with late model factory TCI ignition & XS performance carbs (honed cylinders, new rings, lapped valves, new valve seals, new oil filters, all new gaskets, etc.)
Custom fabricated: handlebars, headlight bracket, exhaust pipes, fork covers & misc mounts and brackets.
Mike sends in this nicely upgraded beauty.
I have tried to keep a basically stock look while making it much more reliable. Mikuni carbs, Tri Spark ignition, Pingel petcocks and a gel battery to mention a few upgrades.

Ed Shure pointed me to a for sale ad he has in the Boulder (Colorado) Craigslist. You don’t custom Mule’s like this come up for sale very often. Really excellent build. Oh and for the record, I don’t know him personally so if you’re interested in the bike please contact Ed through the Craigslist ad.
