A Stunning “back yard” built XS 650 Tracker!

Sorry, I was told recently that I use the word “stunning” too much in my posts but I’m struggling to find a more appropriate word for this bike.  Andrew raises the bar for a back yard build to a new high. If I wasn’t such a 2 stroke junky I would be all over these XS 650’s. They’re possibly the best blank canvas in all of motorcycledom.

Just completed this one. Custom aluminum tank, custom triple clamps, 03 gsxr forks, rotors calipers and hot wing glass seat pad is custom master cylinder, custom made exhaust, barns style hubs, radian swing arm, stainless steel bars, LED tail light, Piaa eye ball lamps, custom rear brake hanger, sun rims, Buchanan spokes, Maxxis tires, Mikuni carbs, Braille batterie, Progressive shocks. Andrew Elia Solon Ohio

By special request. The 1981 “ELR” Kawasaki KZ1000 based Superbike S1 Racer (from the backgound on another post).

Here you go Kurt. Be sure to check out the last photo which gives some interesting background on the bike.

Sweet little 2001 Honda CB250 cafe racer.

From Paul Stanner

Here is a 2001 Honda CB250 cafe racer I built for someone a few years ago. Great little bikes. Didn’t really want to hand it over when it came time as it was some much fun to ride.
My site has a few more pics of the bike. http://www.drifterbikes.com/
Thanks for the time you take to keep your site running with interesting content and new builds.

My Pleasure Paul. And thanks for the pics!

It’s strange but now that Buell is gone I find myself wanting one.

This wouldn’t suck.

2002 Buell m2 cyclone. Lava gray & molten orange. Big motor, big brakes, big fun.

Three Stunning Brit Bikes.

Our old friend Charles Lathe sends in these three beauties.

Hey Steve,

Last weekend, we rode up to the Triumph Come Home Rally in Oley, Pennsylvania and saw some great bikes and met some great people. I’m attaching photos. The ’59 Triton — if you can call a bike with that much machine work in it a Triton — really wowed me. I took a bunch of photos of it so if you want to see more, let me know.

Regards, Chuck Lathe, North Carolina

Chuck, put me down as a solid yes on those other pics. I’d love to see more.
