But if I had the time I might seriously consider this one…

More Trackday 2-Stroke video. I don’t think he got passed once?
From Edouard who writes in:
Hello ! Thank you for forwarding my TZ 750 video a little while ago. My father, who’s turning 60 in a few months, is the one riding it.
Here is a video of me taking a TZ 350 for a spin. The RPM counter is broken. The location is Dijon Prenois racetrack, France. Feel free to forward it !
Wow! That’s a great wounding bike.
Really interesting Museum / Collection of bikes.
Thanks to Kenneth Pantling who writes in with an interesting album…
This place is in North Walsham, Norfolk, UK, about 6 miles from where I live. It is really the storage area/collection for a couple of guys who do restorations. They charge a very modest amount just to look around but it’s worth every penny.
Reader Ride! A killer KTM motard build!
A killer KTM build! Thanks to Joe Banks who writes in:
Hi there, love the twostroke blog and the pic of the day. Enjoyed the Stormer you just featured, took me back to my first full build,a 370 Stormer when I was 14 in an old pigsty.
At 40(ish) I seem to have ended up with another ex pigsty to work in, funny how life goes in circles.
Anyway, this is the latest piglet, not sure if its your thing but thought I’d send the pics anyway, I love it. It’s a 525exc bored to 540,flowed head,8/33 cam etc, in a supermoto/flatracker style. Lots of power and probably weighs in less than I do.
Keep up the good work, Joe.
That is NO pig Joe. Love it! I can think of some roads where this beauty would be right at home.
The Roots of Motorcycling…?
CBX. The business end!
UPDATE: I love the title of the e-mail I got on this one.. “1967 Cl160, with new happy and special parts installed… to create… happiness.”
UPDATE: Jeremy sent a link to some good pics of the bike through various stages of the build. Good Stuff! Thanks Jeremy
Excellent! Jeremy Jackson sent in the progress pics of this cool scoot and it reminds me that I haven’t done enough good posts on “budget build” bikes lately.
Jeremy write in:
Hi, I read your blog all the time and I have sent a few progress reports on my bike. Well, I just keep trying….. Anyways, here is my bike with a new seat and some gaiters on it. It’s a 67 CL160, made from junk, and everything including the seat, header and rearsets is scratch built – mostly in my gravel driveway. Just need some barends so I can get rid of the ugly mirrors I tossed on to ride it. I still have an online album starting with a pic of the 50.00 basket case I started with. Thanks for looking, keep up the good work.
Looking good Jeremy! And send me the link to your build album so I can ad it to the post!
Thanks!
