Wherever you are and whatever you’re doing be safe and happy this year! And if you can get out and ride then go for it!
Budget Yamaha Cafe build pics from Brazil! You build what you can with what you have!
Nicely modified Yamaha RZ500. For me this borders on pernography.
SteveF over on the 2strokeworld message board posted up this stunner.
From that post:

A decent take on an XS750..
To whom it may concern,
This 77′ Yamaha XS750 has received a full treatment makeover into UGLY Motor Bikes view of a cafe racer. The kick/electric start motor has had the top end rebuilt with custom engraved handcrafted velocity stacks and a custom 3-3 baffled exhaust. With these modification, the bike has an aggressive tuned exhaust note. The custom metal tail features a single offset tail/brake light, and a frenched start button. The seat, grips, and pegs are wrapped in Nigerian calf leather with a slightly aged look applied. To achieve the desired stance the front forks have been internally lowered 1 ½” and 1” in the triples. With this being the first Yamaha triple having built/worked on, they hold true to their rep of being a stubborn bike, but once they are tuned and massaged they are outstanding bikes. This XS750 has great smooth power and the riders smiles grows with every twist of the throttle. Continuing in UGLY’s style of minimalism and focus on design, this XS750 pulls it’s weight, and is a welcomed addition the UGLY Motor Bikes family.
The bike is currently on sale for a steal at http://www.seaweedandgravel.com
We hope you enjoy as much as did building this on of a kind Yamaha XS750.

Reader ride! A Sweet Triumph Scrambler.
Wow! I think I need another air cooled 2 stroke Yamaha.
More proof that it’s 90 percent rider and 10 percent bike.
This video has been around a while but it still makes me smile. That’s a Ninja 250 on the track with novice riders on 1000’s. I bet the brakes were still cool to the touch in the pits afterward.
Video in the spirit of hte recent mystery bike!
You have to just laugh (and cringe) at the lit cigar. I can’t imagine doing 100mph on those tires! Special thanks to Robie Pruden who posted this in the comments thread to that post.
Reader historical bike photo ID request.
I missed this in my spam filter back on Nov 26 (sorry about that David). I’m not a vintage expert by any means but I swear that tank is a Super X. See this pic HERE. Just a guess though. Anyone else?
This photo is of a family member of mine way back in the day in Sweden and I have not been able to identify the manufacturer even when using a magnifying glass. Can anyone identify this bike?

A fairly radical Yamaha based “XTX” cafe mystery bike…
UPDATE: LINK TO THE BUILD THREAD Thank you Eric from the comments!
Over the years I’ve started following different photo albums on the web and I get periodic e-mail updates on activity. I’ve lost track of who’s who but every once in a while I get a nice surprise. This bike has a more complete album over on Google Picasa HERE. I have no further information other than the pictures. Can anyone name that engine? BIG single cylinder liquid cooled Yamaha. I don’t think it’s a US sold model.
