Going to be travelling for a few days…

I’ll be on a road trip tomorrow and maybe half of Saturday but if all goes well I’ll be bringing in a new ride and some REALLY good material.  Stay tuned.

A Cool Little Cub from the UK.

Ron Machette Writes in with this tricked out  little Honda 90 Cub:
A few pictures of my little honda 90 . I built it to ride to work . I live in Kings Lynn . Good site by the way. I put h100 forks and wheels on it. These are 18 inch instead of 17. I made the front mudguard from an old stainless steel cooking pot. I used Honda Chaly handlebars.

By the way nice work with the lens and that is some absolutely beautiful country there!

Reader Ride. Moto Guzzi Mk 1 Le Mans

Alan Blair included this in with some photo’s of another bike that he had. Unfortunately Alan if you’re reading this the bike you intended me to have didn’t include the complete set and what did come through was unusable so please give it another go. It did look interesting. In the mean time..

Reader Rides. A 1936 Schwinn/Merkel 2-stroke board racer conversion and a 1965 BSA C-15 café conversion!

Jeff from Tuscon send in this nice pair of bikes, I freaking love the small board tracker.

SWEET!

A Very Fine 69… Harley XLCH.

Maybe my favorite “realistic” classic Harley and this one’s a well photographed beauty. The contributor prefers to remain anonymous.
Your readers may be interested in my ’69 XLCH, but I’d like to remain anonymous if you care to publish photos.
Just the way you’d want one back in the day…and today too. Alloys. Bates pad & pillion. Older slash cut mufflers. Shock covers. PB cams. All black.

Thank you sir!

A Maserati Motorcycle. Yes really.

Another nice contribution from our regular contributor Mr. Ted Guthrie

Ted Writes in:
Hi, Steve. Spent a couple of days at the Wauseon, Ohio AMCA meet. There is always SO much cool stuff there. Among all the great bikes was this little Maserati, on display by the National Motorcycle Museum folks. Coordinator Mark Mederski says the bike is headed for the Pebble Beach Concours.

Thanks Ted,
I can’t imagine how rare this bike must be. Some interesting background can be found HERE

A nice reader gallery from the 2010 Mid Ohio show.

Vince Fyie sent in a collection of great pics from the 2010 Mid Ohio motorcycle show/races/swapmeet as well as some nice shots of his granddaughter racing on the Salt Flats for the first time. This is a bit of an experiment with the gallery function. Hope it works OK.. Please let me know if this acts up on any browsers or assorted phones and devices out there and I’ll see what I can do.

Thanks folks!

Stunning Velocette Mk VII KTT.

I actually whistled loudly when this photo popped up on my screen. To me this is pure lust..

Mk VII KTT – pure distilled essence of motorcycle. Thanks for looking, and ride safe
Buck Pilkenton

Thank you Buck!

Montgomery Wards (Benelli) “Riverside”…

Another great bike from reader Paul Mattson.  I love the old department store bikes.  Some good info on the old MW bikes HERE… and Here as well .  From what I’ve read this is a mid 60’s  125cc 2 stroke re-badged Benelli (since there is a spare tank next to it that would appear to fit this bike as well).
