The Brand New (American Made) Motus MST Sport Tourer

Wow! Go to Motorcycle Daily (no affiliation) for a good review of the bike.

Gorgeous stuff with a pretty good idea for an engine.

Engine on the dyno… It does sound like a scaled down Corvette. Turn it up LOUD!

Opposites attract! A 2-stroke repliracer and a Harley sidehack..

Steven Varrato sent in a coulple of sweet but very different bikes:

I stumbled across your site recently, and thought I had a couple pics you might like. Sorry I don’t have a ton of info; took these at Biketoberfest in Daytona around 2008. Hope you like them!

–Steven

I like em both Steven. Which makes me sort of odd I suppose…. LOL.
Thanks!

A BMW /5 hybrid with a GSXR?

Anyone have any more info on this bike?  I’ve tripped accross it a few times and I can’t find much about it.

Reader Ride. Otstanding 1969 Bonneville Hot Rod!

Larry Edwards writes in:

Great site!!! I have visited MANY times while I collected reference material. Attached you’ll find pics of my ’69 Bonneville build that took place mostly in my dining room between early October and January. It’s not to the sanitary stage yet. Still doing shake-down runs but, I can’t hardly stop once I’m out on a ride without having a crowd gather around the thing. Then of course I spend the next hour answering questions and telling folks how it came together. Anyway, thought I’d share some pics with you. It could be classified as a “street tracker” I suppose but, as you will see mine doesn’t have any fiberglass on it. Mostly I figure it’s a hot rod and since I had to bob it and chop it a bit to get it to where it’s at, it may be time to begin a new classification or category of bike. I call be bike The Bopper.
Thanks,
Larry

Wow that’s nice. I mean Damm. And you’re right.  I’ve tagged as a Chopper/Bobber/Streettracker.   Hard to pin it down.

Thanks Much Larry.

Reader Ride. A converted Honda Dream 50R!

Doug Nassif sends in this trick little conversion.

Hi,
2004 HRC Dream 50R, conversion to street legal.
Headlight too big? That’s me!
Cheers!
Doug.

Thanks again Doug. Man that looks like fun. Those overhead cams on that small cylinder are too cool. And I bet all the other bikes have headlight envy! 🙂

Reader Ride. A Nice and Naked FZ1…

Carlos Fragoso write in:
Steve,
After having sent some pics of my classic Royal, I now want to share with
you some pics of my daily ride. It’s a FZ1 Yamaha, with a Akrapovic exhaust
and some other features as the handlebar from Deprettomoto.
Most of the pics were taken in May 2009 on a journey to Spain at Picos da
Europa.
Hope you like it as well.
Regards
Carlos

I love it. If Yamaha would sell the naked version of this bike in the U.S. I think I’d own one. Just a great line to the bike that the faired version can’t pull off.

Just added another new blog link.

Along with Mutant Moto from last night, I just added  Team Benzina. Be sure to check them out!

Here’s a nice Ducati Darmah from Greg’s  Benzina photo archives!

Outsatnding new Honda Cafe From a great new blog.

Do yourself a favor and go check out the rest of these pics over on Mutant Moto (link fixed)

Bret really gets it.

Thanks for the pics Bret.

Great lines…

And a VERY unusual manifold setup.  A 4 cylinder manifolded to dual carbs.  Very trick and probably a lot easier to tune.

Great Shot! Black and (Red) White (and Blue) Sportster.

A great shot and I also want to show that I’ve go no problem with post processing if it’s done well.   Thanks to Chris Cullen who contributed this via the Facebook page.
