Three fantastic Moto Guzzi Video’s from our regular commenter and aficionado William Ferry.

I’m just going to let Bill describe them… Fantastic Stuff!

This lovely thing is, in my view having studied them for years, the BEST all -round tasty.. I’ve ever seen. I would have it in a heartbeat.
[2] Also attached I hope, is a lovely little film taken at the Guzzi factory, at some gathering or other.. of a famous Guzzi technician and cafe owner.. [name escapes me.. the joys of getting older..].. he starts the bike, and the joy on his face and the rasp of the bike is a total wonder to behold. Lovely.
Now FGS let them thro’ and.. just enjoy them.
Regards
Bill

[3] I’ve added the last one as, a guzzi fan, you should see these things [ sorry, I’m not being pompous.. it’s a love affair and I love to show like minded people..]
Bill Lomas was my lifelong hero. And he knew it. We were friends for years and I loved him dearly. A great guy.. he had a wicked sense of humour and told terrible, outrageous stories. I miss him still. Ah well..

Oh my… The sound of this bike is just sublime..

this last one just make so happy that I live in the age of Youtube.

The latest from Kaffee Maschine. Kaffeemaschine, Guzzi Cafe Racer #6

Some artists work with paint, some with clay or marble and some with steel and chrome. This is humbling for most folks who like to build their own. Leaves me a tad speechless.

The latest from Kaffee Maschine

The bike was built for Brian Cowan (UK), who wanted a pure custom racebike for vintage racing. His preconditions were: fast, red/silver, cast wheels. And he wanted to ride the biker´s classics (next week) with it, so the schedule was tight. If you are there and see him riding his red “Kaffeemaschine” rather slow- he still has to break in his brandnew engine…
That is a modified/tuned V11 unit (1040ccm, 95hp), combined with a 1980 frame- the Guzzi racer was built from single components. Dry weight is 176kg. I modified a LM1 fairing and chose a Magni-shape GFK tank. The fork is a revised Guzzi original with modern dampers and springs, shocks are special Ikon ones, brake components are new and improved. All other parts are handcrafted, as usual.
Best regards,
Axel

Wow.

A Moto Guzzi T3 in 750 bodywork.

Here is my 1976 T3 Moto Guzzi in 750s body work for you to post. I had it on display at the art gallery I own with friends. We did a show last summer called art and the motor cycle.

A (sadly) nearly forgotten Moto Guzzi. The V65 TT.

Ed Sander writes in with this nearly forgotten classic. With all the various scramblers and adventure bikes that BMW and Triumph are coming out with these days a modernized version of something like this would really make sense.

I recently saw a cute Guzzzi V7 scrambler as a new Buzzi offering. got me thinking . They might consider re making the V65 TT. It too was based on the same small block architecture as the V7. Thought I would send you a photo of mine , as a reminder of a nearly forgotten machine. A regular rider after all these years. The bigger displacement torquier modern engine would transform this machine from good to truly excellent machine. Come on Moto Guzzi.. Piaggio Thanks Ed Sander

That’s one heck of a daily rider! Thanks Ed!

At the Spectacular Moto Guzzi Cafe!

A very nice surprise in my inbox today brought to you from Axel at Kaffeemaschine. Please do pay them a visit and take a look around. You won’t be disappointed!

Axel writes in:

I built the bike for Thomas Gruner, who had bought a ´89 Moto Guzzi Le Mans 4 in pieces a couple of years ago and didn´t really know what he had bought and how to put it back together again.
He asked me to build a custom cafe racer from his bits and pieces.

I was struggeling a lot with the totally crappy inside of his engine and some parts, it was obvious that he bought a disassembled bike which has had an accident incl. an engine damage. He immediately fell in love with the tank lying around in my workshop (though not really ideal for the high neck of the late Le Mans frame), which became his only definite wish for the bike.
Except for the tank, I built all alloy parts on the bike by hand, as usual. The engine and transmission got a total revision and now have brandnew stock Le Mans 1000 specs (950ccm, 81hp).
Even with the original power, the Guzzi is performing great after the 183kg “diet” (the stock LM 1000 is around 240kg…)- only the frame loses 3,5kg of steel.
The modified fork is of a California with special stainless steel discs. Brakes are equipped with modern calipers and a momentum support on the rear. Exhaust is Lafranconi, shocks are Ikon, the rev counter is from MMB. The minimal wiring harness is built by myself.

I think Thomas is not the guy who´d fit a totally classic motorcycle (in his case, that´s meant as a compliment). I chose the seat shape and the type of paint because of the impression I had of him- so I wanted it classic and elegant, but a bit of hot rod, too- away from the iconic Italian racer.

Thanks again Axel.

Wow! Stunner of a Kaffee-Maschine Moto Guzzi.

I’ve been overdue for a nice Guzzi and Axel Budde remedies that by sending in this absolute stunner!!

He writes in:

This custom cafe racer was built for Gustav Larsson, living in Monaco.

The donor bike was a Le Mans 3. The engine was modified with 950ccm cylinders, balanced crank drive, performance cam, electronic double ignition and a lighter clutch. It already had a rare, straight geared racing transmission, which was revised. Wheels are Morad with stainless spokes.
Shocks are Ikon, the fork got new tubes and Fac dampers. A minimal electrical system including a motogadget instrument was built. ALL special components on the bike are handcrafted.
Dry weight is 180kg, power is 82hp.

“Kaffeemaschine” (coffee machine) is my company, building unique cafe racers and bespoke bikes, based on the classic Guzzi V2-engine and frame.
I´d be very glad if you would mention and link my webside “www.kaffee-maschine.net“.

Please let me know when you are going to post my stuff.
If you have any more questions or need more info, don´t hesitate to contact me.

Best regards from Hamburg/Germany,
Axel Budde

Beautiful old school Moto Guzzi bobber with some “Von Dutch” roots.

And it’s for sale!

From the Add:

One of a kind Falcone bob job that was once owned by the legendary Von Dutch. This bike was originally built by Von Dutch in the 1960’s and later sold to a Hollywood movie company. The bike was used in some biker exploitation film and eventually ended up with another legend, Mike Parti. Mike had the bike dissembled for years and in the early 1990’s decided to restore it. Mike kept the classic bobber look and added a few touches of his own.
