I actually have almost this exact same angle of this bike on my home computer and I think I have a closeup of the information card. I’ll check tonight. In the mean time here’s another one. Thanks Much to Kevin for the shot who wrote in:
Since your interested in it, I have this picture. I can’t quite read the placard on the bike but it looks to be an explanation of this particular model. I don’t remember where I found this picture, I never keep that information,as I save them for my own enjoyment. This may even be the same bike. If your friend has more info on this model I hope you can publish it sometime.
I don’t know if you remember me but I sent you a picture of a custom Yankee 500 a couple months ago. I’m always on the look out for something different- and cool. That’s why I like your blog(s) so much!
Keep up the good work and thanks for it. -Kevin.
I have buddy who is practically trying to give me one of these in running but rough shape. Even though it’s not really my “thing”, I may have to take him up on it. Thanks to Ugly Motorbikes. They have a nice CB650 build in their video’s that’s well worth a look.

There is a great thread over on ADV rider posting Trans America Trail photos and this post by Patrice Ninaud of RideDualSport.com fame really caught my eye. This is one of those rides that I think about a lot. When my daughter gets a bit older I think I might have to at least bite off a piece of this ride. Maybe the east coast portion for a start and see what happens.
Looking at these photos I realize just how much of this country I’m yet to see. Like I said, these are just a random sampling of his trip. Great Stuff Patrice! Thanks much!
Jason Moore sends in his sweet little CL125 “hybrid”
This is my CL125s “lil Frank” I picked it up to restore and ride around town but it ended up needing a full motor rebuild, new exhaust, and the forks were bent. Its basically a combination of the CL125 and a CB100 that was full of bullet holes and laying on its side in a field for 20+ years. This was my first 125s but now I have 5. Some for parts and some to put back on the road. Ill send you some nice ones of my CB125 cafe as soon as I get some good pictures of it. I love riding these little bikes because it brings back so many good memories for people. i always get stopped wherever i go by somebody who has a story about when they had a little honda just like it. Anyway here are some shoots i took recently.
Regular contributor Chuck Lathe from North Carolina was kind enough to grab some shots of this modded Goldwing. I’ve always liked these builds. A lot of folks don’t know that the original Goldwings were intended as performance bikes and they only became tourers when folks started setting them up that way.
Just noticed the wwwwiiiide handlebars! Jebus!
Thanks again Chuck!
