CA SR36 from Fortuna to Red Bluff is my favorite road to date. What’s your favorite?

Hi there – I am enjoying your site and thought I would send in a few pics of a build I did a few years ago. A complete strip down and rebuild of a very tired and long unused 1976 Suzuki GT550.
The build saw many additions and modifications to get it to the Café Racer I wanted, unfortunately I only had it for a couple of years before some #$%@%^*&$%# stole it.
Cheers,
Paul
You posted an article for my 1988 Honda Hawk GT650 back in January 2012. Since then I have done quite a few new things to it. Some of the parts that have been added was a solo seat cover, new custom made from fender, custom sprocket cover plus many other custom parts. Almost all the custom parts were made by members of the Hawk community on HawkGTForum.com. There are many talented members on the hawk forum site. With some having cnc skills, to others having fiberglass and carbon fiber modification skills. Here is some of the newer photos. Thanks again for your site. Jas
Started out with a 1973 Yamaha RD350 we move the swingarm pivot points back about three inches and put a RZ rear end on swingarm disk brakes and a after market Fox race shock mono shock. We went from a 73 twin shock to a modified RZ race rear end with a 6 and 1/2 inch stretch to the rear end. Vintage Avon front clip modified RD400 tank and a vintage Ducati tail section

This 1951 BMW R60 was in near perfect condition save for a few freckles of rust. This is the most beautiful sidecar I have ever seen.

Anyone ever ridden a dual sport with knobbies on the freeway? I did on this 2002 Honda XR650L and it’s sheer panic.

Honda’s XR650 is a perfect motorcycle once you learn how to kick start the bike.
