You posted an article for my 1988 Honda Hawk GT650 back in January 2012. Since then I have done quite a few new things to it. Some of the parts that have been added was a solo seat cover, new custom made from fender, custom sprocket cover plus many other custom parts. Almost all the custom parts were made by members of the Hawk community on HawkGTForum.com. There are many talented members on the hawk forum site. With some having cnc skills, to others having fiberglass and carbon fiber modification skills. Here is some of the newer photos. Thanks again for your site. Jas
clean and simple !
I love those Hawks. It was one of my first bikes back in 1991 and one of the first naked bikes. The design was well ahead of its time. I sold mine back in 1999 because I wanted something a a bit faster and more modern. I regretted it ever since. If I only knew then what I knew now I would still own it. To see some of the stuff some of these hawk owners are doing to these bikes now is amazing. This is just one very beautiful example of taking a vintage bike and adding improvements to make it modern while still keeping a lot of its vintage looks. It one of the best Honda’s of all time. That is one beauty of a bike and the improvements you have added are great. If the hawks looked as good as this one does when introduced, I would still own mine.
