Honda

One Clean Honda Hawk GT. Oh what might have been….

It’s always been strange to me that a few years after Honda completly gave up on this excellent motorcycle that Suzuki introduced the wildly successful SV650 (in 3 different formats: naked, sport-faired and Adventure DL model) which was answered years later by Kawasaki with the Ninja 650 lineup…. including the “Bike of the year” Versys varient. Obviously Honda pulled the plug way too quickly and with much to little support leaving the field wide open to he rest of the players (although yamaha is trying with the 4 cylinder FZ6 but they’re not there yet). Shrewd move there Honda…. What’s sad is that a mildly updated version of this exact bike would STILL be competitive in the marketplace. Whatever… shrug..

Vintage racebike, pints and a game of darts…

I’ve unintentionally insulted the owner of this fine steed today so I hope this makes up for my sleight.. Are you on here George?

Honda CL 70… Cafe Racer! (update)

Ted Guthrie keeps sending in some really great stuff. He caught this one at Vintage Motorcycle Days a few years ago. What a cool build! When I was 12 I would have done anything for a ride like this! Well Done!

Thanks again Ted!

UPDATE:
While we’re at it, he also included some sweet Ducati singles from the same show. I do love those little ducks..

Reader Ride! Honda "Super Four" CB400

All the way from Manila, Philippines. Thanks Very Much to reader Isleta Digoy for sending in such a cool ride. I love the Repsol paint scheme. This would also fall under the category of really cool bikes that we don’t get in the U.S.
