UPDATE: A VERY custom Triumph Bonneville Scrambler.

And before you as NO, I have no details beyond the photographs. It came from this thread on Adventure Rider.

Info gleaned from the owner in the Adventure Rider thread linked to above:
Ok, a few details, as BT guessed the swingarm and the motor are genuine Triumph, everything else is either custom built or added. The frame is 4139 Cromemoly TIG welded, the forks are KX500, CR500 single rear shock, 2 35mm Mikuni Flat slide pumper carbs, Fuel tank is hand formed aluminum 5+gal,2 sets of wheels, (street/dirt) weight is 382lbs w/o gas. Power is best described as “Beastly”!

Great Reader Submittal. 1983 Triumph TSX.

Just got hese great shots from Don of a really rare bike!

Don Writes:

Heres one for your callout, my unmolested 83 TSX – 5,000 miles and Meriden’s very last bike (along with the 8 valve TSS).371 produced, 200 went to USA, 100 in UK and 71 to rest of the world….Very much raises the question “What if Meriden had a couple more years, and more cash to keep the factory running a little longer”….. The only Triumph produced with a 16” rear tire
Enjoy your blogspot very much!
Take care,Don in SF Bay area
