Reader Ride! A Sort Of "Combat" CT90!

Nate Beveridge sends in these pics of his cool custom Honda CT90.

He Writes in:

I am a daily reader of your blog. I love it, and I love your taste in bikes. You put up a couple of pics from my trip to the grand canyon on my VTX1800 a few months ago, and now I have another I’d like to share. This is a 1970 Honda CT90 I built from the ground up. It has a 125cc clone engine with a 22mm Mikuni carb, and let me tell you, it MOVES. I painted it to match WWII era OD green, with some satin black accents. Everything is new and improved. Upgraded suspension, CDI electronic ignition, 12v electronics, leather seat, manual clutch, and a Hella off-road headlight.

I have it for sale, http://eugene.craigslist.org/mcy/1996768461.html, but you don’t need to share that. I’m not trying to use you to sell it, I’m just very proud of it and would like to share it with your readers. (I do have some more details in the ad, however).

I couldn’t have done it without parts, advice and jabbing from Dave, Trish and Frank at Cyclepsycho (www.cyclepsycho.com).

Thanks so much for your effort, I really do enjoy checking it out each morning before heading out to my shop to wrench. I’m in the beginning stages of owning my own shop, www.tsunamimotorcycles.com, and am loving every minute of it. Forever two wheels!

Thanks Nate!  Looks great and best of  luck with the shop!  Keep us posted on how you’re doing!

Honda Super Monkey Bike!

Damm… there’s some serious bank in this little bike.

You learn something new ever day… Reader Ride. The Sym Wolf 125.

Jesus Buisan sends in ome pictures of a very interesting bike that I’ve never heard of.  I did some looking around and in the USA they look to be primarily a scooter company but the base model to this bike look s pretty good.  An Jesus did a great job of tuning it up.

I am a follower of your blog I look every day and a big fan of classic bikes, I have a Bultaco Sherpa T 80, 1971 and Sym Wolf 125 small bike I have been transformed with minor changes until it was to my liking, as closely possible for a British bike of the 1960, I see you just hang up pictures of small bikes, but I’m sending you some pictures of my little, if you will hang them.

Farily Radical CB100 Custom From My Favorite Indonesian Builder!

Gifny Richata from Indonesia sends in his latest custom build.  See his first submittable HERE This bike is further proof that you don’t need big CC engines to create something special. This may be the coolest CB100 on the planet. As an aside, you have a nice touch with the camera. Very well composed.

How are you doing? I always enjoy your motorcycle blog everyday!! Keep up the good stuff! :D….. Just in case you want to put my latest work….It’s a 1976 Honda CB100. It’s a low-budgeted project, nothing fancy but looks pretty good to me 🙂 Only swapped the swing arm with a Honda GL200, added bigger tires, and a custom Commando-style tailpiece. Engine is bored up with a 200cc piston. And just put matt paints to get the raw look. Building process can be seen on our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/pages/Hajarbroxx-Motorcycles/115078248506795?ref=ts  ….hope you like it!

Cheers,
Gifny

The Dream 50.

If I wasn’t so “gravity compliant” I’d love to own one of these…

Reader Ride! Wicked little Kawasaki KZ200 Street Tracker.

Gifny Richata from Indonesia sends in these pictures of his fantastic KZ200 street-tracker.  This is more proof that you don’t need big dollars and big engines to build really cool bikes.

Hello,
I’m Gifny Richata from Indonesia, and I just want to show you some pics of my recently built custom bike. It’s a 1981 Kawak KZ200. I just want to share the joy I have building this bike and want to thank you for showing cool bikes through your blog, which some of them really inspired me to build my own.
I’m working as a concept artist/illustrator and started my own studio ( http://www.oraystudios.com ) and now with my friend Nandang, a mechanic who helped me building this bike, we’re gonna start a small custom bike garage called Hajarbroxx motorcycles, and hopefully we’ll start making really cool bikes in near future…

cheers,
Gifny

Fantastic Stuuf!  When you start your business please send me pictures of whatever you have.  I love these sorts of builds.  Big imagination with reasonable budgets.

Honda Supercub C90ST.

Joe from Mexico sends in some pictures of this new Honda  C90ST.  At a quick glance, I thought it was a restoration of an early model.  then Joe mentioned the history of the bike.  I didn’t realize that these were being built by Honda in North America!  In my beach community this bike would be fantastic! Why the heck can’t I get one of these at my local Honda dealer here in the US?  No offense to the Vespa “style” scooters but I’d rather have something along these lines for where I live.

Joe Writes:
Hello,
great website! Here’s my 2008 Honda Super Cub C90ST, I bought it new in April, 2008. Built in Kumamoto Japan, assembled from CKD in Guadalajara, México. I learned to ride on it, but rarely ride it anymore, I ride a 2008 Honda NX4 Falcon (400cc version of NX650 Dominator, built in Brazil) now.
-Joe.

Thanks Joe!  And if you have pictures of that NX4 Falcon I’d love to see them!

A pair od wicked little Honda Cafe’s.
