2-stroke
Just noticed. 60,000 hits ad rolling! Thanks to everyone for stopping by!!
Tularis Video! Maybe the coolest 2 stroke ever built.
I’ve personally seen this bike run at Daytona when it was just completed. It was entered to do some “Parade laps” in what was supposed to be a mellow few laps by “Past Champions”. Well he whacked that bike wide open around the high banks and was just whailing it. The sound was unbelievable but sadly it had to be cut short as the carbon fiber fuel tank had developed a small crack and was leaking fuel so unfortunately he had to cut it short. This was around 2000 or 2001 and the bikes performance and potential was nothing short of jaw dropping.

Super Clean TZ250 Racebike from Daytona
Daytona in 2 days… and trips from the past!
Yours truly from days gone by. Couple of skinny boys we were. That’s a Kawasaki S2 350 I’m riding and my buddies RD350. We rode down 90 miles from Jacksonville in perfect weather. I had a leaky left side seal so I basically ran on 2 cylinders for most of the trip and I think the RD had 2 soft seizures but it was one hell of a fun weekend.
One more chapter coming this Monday!
CBX and an H2 parked in front of the "Tree of Shame" at Deals Gap Resort.
The fellow who restored these bikes did an amazing job. That H2 was VERY nicely polished. Here’s some closeups from my other site.
