Does anyone know what the plates on the sides of the gas tank are for?
Those are blank off plates. The original bike would have had aviation type quick fill ports.
Interesting. I have never seen fuel filled from the side of the tank. I can’t imagine how it would fill the tank completely. I thought maybe they were supposed to be plexiglass and where an overkill way to check the fuel level!
