UPDATE: Sorry about that Brent.
From Brent and Tammy Soper. Bike seen in THIS earlier post
Heres a current picture of me laying down a pass on my Suzuki VX with its Arctic Cat 900 triple sled engine. Only went 10.61@121 mph, not too bad for its second run ever. Launched real good did a 1.495 60′ time. Ran out of gear by the 1000′ mark so another tooth on the front sprocket is a must and get jetting right.
Very respectable for such a wild experimental build! That tire looks to be getting a nice bite on launch. Please keep us posted as you keep dialing her in!
Damn it…Its not a polaris. Its an ARCTIC CAT!!!!!
That thing can launch! 10.6 @ 121mph with a 1.49 60′!
It’ll go way faster, I just have to dial it in. CVT Clutching is an art in itself.
As of saturday my VX is down…I broke it. I was laying down what I believe would have been a 10.30’s pass and my chain broke just before the 1/8 mile (100 mph)…coasting to a 12.05@69 mph. The chain did some damage, it broke out my tail light and splintered the paint on the rear section and came to a rest drooped across the shock mount dragging down the track. I was VERY lucky the chain did’nt hit my leg or lock up the back tire at 100 mph. I dodged a bullet for sure and next year I’ll have the best chain money can buy…No exceptions
