Diesel!
It´s an Enfield Taurus, the only Diesel bike Enfield ever produced. It has a 6,5HP engine and a top speed of 65-75km/h if you´re lucky. Consumption is 1,5 liters per 100km! Production has ceased meanwhile though.
There is a small shifter behind the kick starter on the transmission. Is that a high/low range shifter? I had a Suzuki 230 with much the same configuration.
That´s the neutral finder: You kick it with your heel and most of the time you´re back in neutral.
