Harley

The Cycle World "Budget Build" E-bay special Street Tracker from last months issue.

I read the article on this bike and while it’s a cool project I think it really skewed things a lot having the owner / builder of Mule Motorcycles essentially create this bike. I’d wager that it’d be a little tough for even a good amateur to put a bike like this together for $8500. Not without falling into a LOT of lucky deals on parts. It’s stil a cool ride though.

Credit and thanks to to to suzukijo for the pics…

The British and American "Cafe"

Triunph and Harley Cafe Racers. I’d love tobe there when these bike fire up and ride out!

Recieved a fantastic link today from custom bike builder Jean François Vicente. Shame on me for not knowing about him He does amazing work!

He Writes:
Hi,
I have been hand building one off special bikes for fifteens years.. inclosed are some samples. Take a look at http://vicente-design.com/
Regards
Jean François Vicente

Merci Beaucoup Jean Francois!

Really Nice Sportster Cafe Racer.

This bike is so cleanly built that it makes me wonder why Harley doesn’t just build something similar. A tank, a seat, a stylish pipe, some clipons and smaller gauges and presto! Instant follow up to the XLCR. Hell they could even use the XR1200 engine and give it some go.

Nahh… makes too much sense.

Reader ride! An american bike from a German builder!

Michael Middeldorff from germany send in his version of a sporster XCR. What a great take on a TT style ride. This bike must be an absolute blast to ride.

Thanks for the pictures Michael!!

Local bike nights Pics.. BMW, Yamaha..etc.. we don’t have preferences.

We are an “eclectic” bunch. That my RD400 off in the background.

And yes… that’s a skateboard being used as a fender. Works well actually. He stands on it to get leverage for kickstarts!
