UPDATE: Thanks to Jeff Kunz in the comments for tracking down the story on this.
I grabbed every shot I could from ORIGINAL LINK UPDATED before it was gone. Anyone have background on this? would love to know the story.
I’m just blown away by it. I’m sure many wives would disagree bt this is a life well collected. Here are the photographs I clipped. Yes I’m on the edge of copyright infringement here and will gladly remove them if asked but since I’m ALSO promoting his sale I’ll risk it.
If someone could do a little research and find out who #89 is /was that would lend some provenance to the collection.
What city was the Craiglist add ?
Haven’t been able to find anything about the number 89 bikes, but the number 80 bike was ridden by Rich King.
Looks like this collection belongs to Gary Davis.

Wow that is an amazing collection of bikes… gotta wipe my mouth…
This is heaven. These are actual pictures of heaven…!
I am speechless.
That is in fact Gary Davis’ collection. I was in his shop about 5 to 6 years ago, when he was still actively building bikes. Very nice guy, was willing to show me around for a few minutes.
