I helped a couple friends put together bicycles with that motor kit, minus the aftermarket stuff. It was surprisingly simple and made a fun little ride. The casting that takes the pressure of the clutch mechanism is rather flimsy though, so you have to be careful. I’d also suggest getting an optional right hand split brake/throttle assembly that is a big improvement.
There were a couple guys around town who were slackers. They would get a garage sale bike, put a motor on it for ~$160 and pedal it around at rush hour for a couple of days and sell them for $450. About comparable income to a full time minimum wage job for about 3-4 hours of work a day fooling around.
fun stuff

If this was a video it didn’t show up.
