Well , it is a KLR ,and KLR owners don’t waste money on anything.And it is a Focus, so ?
It looks to me as if this guy was out hunting Kawasaki’s, and bagged himself one and is bringing it home.
Have you ever been to the FL Keys? This is a perfectly acceptable way to transport anything. Motorcycles, livestock, fire wood, you name it. It’s all OK.

I see no major problem. Nit picking, could have used a cut in half tennis ball under the left hand grip. Otherwise I’d expect the hand grip might have been damaged.
