Description 1972 Kenny Roberts World Champion Yamaha motorcycle helmet. A very well used and battle-scarred piece of motorcycle history! Roberts won two AMA Grand National Championships in 1973 & 1974, three consecutive 500 cc World Championships in 1978, 1979 & 1980 along with 3 victories at the Daytona 200. He is the father of the 2000 500cc World Champion, Kenny Roberts, Jr., the only father and son duo to have won the title.

i wouldn’t pay 5000$ for a helmet that is porbably not as safe as a modern one and if i would it yould be 5 times as expensive as my bike 😀

If you ever wore that helmet you’d probably ruin it. It’s not something you’d wear it’s something you’d collect. As memorabilia goes anf IF it’s authentic I guess that it’s woth $5000. Not to me but of course to a collector or museum.
of course i know that you wouldn’t wear it, me neither, i just wanted to get sb to think about how much 5000$ is for a helmet… i would not even want to spend as much for a bike if i had enough money 😉
