I dunno how I feel about the mono-shock conversion on these sort of bikes. I do love the wheels! Where can I get a hold of them? Reply
I can’t be positive but those wheels look a LOT like yamaha wheels that have been on many models from the late 70’s including the RD400. Reply
Love the lean simplicity of this creation. The bug eye tail light is very unique an unexpectedly it works very well on this bike. Nice rear swing arm with frame tucked inside… makes it all the leaner. Good job! Reply
reminds me of a bike i’ve always admired: Reply
jet propulsion(hoooo micro cardan) and auto gearshift(in handle bar as bikes), !!! also, the suspension is to close to the arm point making the scissor bar having an structural bent problem with time. Reply
I continue to be amazed at the attention this post receives. I’s always #1 or #2 on the most viewed list. Reply

Air cooled RD 400’s had twin discs… I vote RD250, or possibly SR 250/400/500 (I believe they all had a single disc set up and the same cast wheels) Reply

I second the idea that the wheels are from RD 400. They look quite nice but OMG are they heavy
