Yamaha XT500. One of my all time fovorite bikes,

I remember when I was a kid, wearing a groove in the dealers showroom floor oogling over this bike. Just has that certain… something… sigh…

Some Great BSA rally pics from regular contributor Ted Guthrie!

Ted sent me these a while back. Not sure how they got past me in my E-mail. Sorry about that Ted. Some real beauties in there. I’ve always wanted a Victor (not to mention a ROKON!) and that’s a beauty for sure.

Ted Writes:
Hi, Steve. We had our summer BSA meet this weekend. Here are a few shots of some interesting bikes seen there. Note the “raffle” bike. Anyone can take a shot at it, for just five bucks! Go to the OVBSAOC website for more info.

Sweet Ducat Scrambler 250… Too damm sexy..

God I love this little bike. How do the Italians do it exactly. Even in the early 60’s they could take a plain Jane scrambler and whip up something worthy of Sophia Loren… Fantastic-o!

UPDATE! Baaaaad little single cylinder… Yamaha?

UPDATE!!: For a complete set of pics of this bike go check out THIS POST on the always excellent “Chopcult” !!

Thanks to BCM in the comment section for the link!

More "bikes not sold in the US". Yamaha Tricker Pro.

Never even heard of this till today. What a cool ride. It’s like the offspring of an enduro and a trials bike! I’d have killed for one of these 20 years ago when I lived a large city that had woods just outside of town.

Back to basics. Flawless Triumph T-120.

Much as I love all the customs and modifieds, sometimes it’s nice to just get back to the basics. The simple pleasures. For me, this would be hard to top…

Local bike nights Pics.. BMW, Yamaha..etc.. we don’t have preferences.

We are an “eclectic” bunch. That my RD400 off in the background.

And yes… that’s a skateboard being used as a fender. Works well actually. He stands on it to get leverage for kickstarts!
