RIP Gary Nixon.

A motorcycle racing legend. He was a cantankerous man with a nose for the checkered flag.

A very good write-up on him can be found HERE

Here he is in Daytona 2004 going at it (as he often did) with Jay Springstien (another famous #9 racer). I was there that year for this race. Saw him ride the hell out of that track many times.

Very impressive! I guess when you ride for a living 10 hours a day you get pretty good at the low speed stuff.

The new Rotor onboard camera system.

This vids been making the rounds today so i thought I’d share it here too. Really interesting camera angles. Might be tough on a roadracer with the extreme lean angles though.

Casey Stoner dragging an elbow (really) in super super slow-motion.

This one’s been all over the web but it’s too darn cool not to re-post. Watch the back tire rate of spin when he’s trail braking. Simply mind boggling.

Now this is just my opinion. But to all the vidoegraphers out there even though (in this case) I like AC/DC and this is extremely well produced, I’d almost always much rather hear the sounds of the ride. Especially a nice thumper like the Enfield.

Cycle World Video. A very slick Jack Pine Special expose.

This bike is becoming something of a cult. It’s easily one of the top viewed posts on my blog and yes I DO love the bike.

Everyone has their own taste so take this with a grain of salt but I almost didn’t post this because I find it to be a bit too over produced for it’s own good.  However, the riding shots alone are worth sitting through the over slick interview.  Again… just my opinion.  Your mileage may vary.  Enjoy.
