Choppers like this (mostly from the ’60’s and ’70’s) were a fad that came and went. Interestingly, unlike all the other motorcycling fads, this one isn’t enjoying a resurgence. I think that this style is viewed as too juvenile and impractical.
While not to my taste, I have to disagree. There were a couple of big TV shows a couple years ago riding the resurgence fad of much more expensive absurd juvenile choppers.
