It looks like a firestone at first glance – crazy enough, but an entire wheel??? Car tyres flex in the sidewall, how would this affect a bike?
As a fellow GS owner, this guy needs to be sterilised to protect the human race…
It is what it is. Maybe he had a flat, needed a replacement to ride around with while an incredibly expensive tire was being shipped. Looks like a Vermont plate – that would explain it, too.
