It was ages ago that we sat in the stands at the “old” dirt track, i.e. speedway, and watched Barry Briggs intoduce speedway to Aldana, Mann, Lawrill and the best. quite a night
Reminds me of our Aussie short/long track. We race converted MX’ers against purpose built Godden, Jawa and Weslake sliders. We also throw in a right hand turn.

This is where World Champions like Casey Stoner, Troy Corser, Troy Bayliss, Chad Reed and many others started out. My hometown of less than 6,000 people produced 2 of those guys alone plus an Australian Superbike Champion.
